Major Vineet Kumar (retd.) – CyberPeace
Major Vineet Kumar is a distinguished social entrepreneur and cyber security expert with over 18 years of experience in internet governance and cyber security. He is the Founder and President of the CyberPeace Foundation, one of the world’s first NGOs dedicated to cyber security, officially launched in 2013. At the age of 14, he founded the National Anti-Hacking Group (NAG) in 2003, a pioneering organization in combating cybercrimes, which has grown to include over 10,000 ethical hackers. An alumnus of Cranfield University, UK, Major Kumar specialized in ‘Cyber Defence and Information Assurance’ and has also studied leadership at Cambridge University. His extensive experience includes serving as the Chief Technology Officer and Head of the Cyber Defense Research Centre for the Jharkhand Police at the age of 22. Major Kumar’s participation in Kalam & Kavach 2.0 brings invaluable insights into cyber security and cyber defense, aligning with the event’s focus on national security and technological advancement.
