Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari, PVSM, AVSM, VM, ADC (Retd)

He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy. The Air Officer has flown various types of aircraft and is experienced on MiG-21, MiG-23MF and MiG-29. He has flown over 3800 hrs and was a member of the first aerobatic team on Kirans. He is a Cat A Qualified Flying Instructor, Graduate of the Defence Services Staff College and an Instrument Rating Instructor and Examiner. The Air Chief Marshal has a rich experience of operational flying, having undertaken numerous Air Defence missions during Op-Meghdoot and Op-Safed Sagar.
